    [*]CANOPY Aqueon Black Plastic canopy
    [*]LIGHTING Aqueon 18" T8 15w 8,000K Bulb for lighting
[*]THERMOMETER Digital Stick On thermometer (which will be removed once I get a chance) & a Tom Temp Alert $13.49

[*]FILTER Hydro-Sponge 2 Filter rated for aquariums up to 20 gallons (using 2 way gang valve to split the air coming out of the whisper 10-30 so it will power both this sponge filter & the one in the 20L)

[*]BOTTOM (covering to avoid peppering) Pink Plastic Party Tablecloth from Wal-mart $1.50

To speed the process up a bit I used water from the 90g, Nutrafin Cycle ($14.99 Petsmart), and squeezed one of my sponge prefilters in.

according to the pro breeders like hans and jack they say 10g per fish to allow them to grow to adult size.

Breeding pairs (no one says)...or at least from what I can find.

Looks roomy enough to me...they can completely turn about and have room to swim back and forth and up and down AND it was all I had room for/handy. Better than them getting the snot beat outta them I figure.

Plus, they are on the smallish side imo (didn't even know they were big enough TO breed).
The male, well he's barely over 4" (he's the smaller out of the 2 Marlboros that I have) & Ms. Pigeon Blood red... she's barely over 3"

The Male Marlboro I already had and got at about 2"...the female is from the new order.

It seems most of the fish I kept from the 1st order are males, whereas most of the fish from the new order just happen to be females.

Hoping once this spawning is over and if their are no eggs that they can be returned to the 90g.
    At least that's the plan.

Pulled the pair out and put them back in the 90g, apparently they were done laying eggs (in the 90 on the back of the larger piece of driftwood) so now it's okay to put them back (no aggression).

Keeping this tank up and running for the next spawning.

Ran the tank hoping their'd be fry...but I think having it up and ready to go is jinxing me. LoL!

Took the tank down for the time being...with this heat I'd much rather run the a/c's and an extra fan or two to circulate the air better.
