150g Stocking:Ilovefireelz(Questions & Advice)

    big fish !
    im looking for a fish for a 150 gallon tank it was to be at least 12 inchs
    NOT oscars or plecos

    enyone have ideas and if its just a thought post it !!!!

    do a nice big cichlid tank! With that size tank you'd be able to do a huge community. There are larger cichlids other than oscars. Venustus, Frontosas, many species of Geophagus. That size tank would also make a great Saltwater Fish only tank. A couple of angels (my fav is the emperor angel and queen angel) might work if ya went that way.

    well i allready have a venustus and 2 oscars and a fire eel so unless i keep the fire eel in a 55 gallon and 2 oscars in a 65 gallon i would love to have a cichlid tant that would be great but i also have a red devil which gets big and aggresive . plus i like biger fish that t "exotic" or different . but thanks fpr the thoughts :):)

    Well keeping the oscars in a 65 gallon tank won't work. I'd suggest getting the tanks required for the fish you have now before adding more monster fish to your collection.

    In my opinion, 100 gallons or more. They get big, and need room to turn around, eat, sleep, and terrorize the neighbors. Don't know about you, but I don't like living in a closet. ( that's just a comparison ) :)

    If its one male and a female a 90 gallon tank is the minimum I'd suggest.
