20 gal suggestion

    My roommate wants a 20 gal tank in his bedroom and a color theme of black and orange that has active fish. I was thinking some kind of danois for a beginner fish. Any ideas appreciated. Yes Rick including goldfish! LOL.

    tiger barbs, get 7-10 of em and call it a day.

    get gold AND black in the same package well Orange and black I should say and they make quite an impressive school, 7 seems to be the magical number for peaceful tiger barbs. they quarrel amongst themselves and leave everyone else alone.

    another option for the fusion is walmart's flat black primer. I use it on all my tanks, even my 210 and it looks great. a buck a can plus 2.50 for the spray handle adapter = happy devil but seriously its a 80% off alternative to the fusions price.

    I like fusion because its one of the only paints that is aquarium safe....inside aquarium safe.
    I keep cans of each on hand so this isnt biased just a cheaper alternative for the same look. Clean the glass REALLY well first with windex and make it squeaky clean. This insures maximum paint adhesion and almost NO blemishes(pending your spraying method,4-6" away and long sweeping motions work best)

    Check out my 210 build thread for pics of the paint I am speaking of what it looks like on glass with and without water, inside the tank as well as outside.

    Im jsut saying 5 cans for the price of 1, youd need 2 cans MAX.

    Now he tells me the room is being done in tiger/jungle so not a bright orange. Really thinking about swordtails. They're a good beginners fish with some kind of danios. Still just a thought. Will probibly have a month before setting it up.

    He may just get whatevr I decide! LOL What's wrong with a lioncoth for 43 he works out doing Capporia a Brizilian martial arts. (he's also has a very high IQ in the genius level and speaks 7 languages to smart for common sence. LOL

    okay, now we need photos to go with the description...I mean we need photos so we can see what fish we think will best suit him. Kinda like the dog that supposedly looks like the owner theory. Haha!

    Don't laugh, He has a natural leather (brownish color) one. He wears it when practicing (the handstands ans\d splits are quite interesting to say the least) We're cousins so he's more like my brother. (DARN)
