    30 gallonn long ideas
    Okay as everyone knows i got a new tank today. yay!!! and it is a 30 gal. I need some ideas of what to put in it. I am going to transfer my catfishys into it. there are only 2. but i need some other ideas.

    every angel i have ever had i killed. i dont want to murder any more. i would love to have some but like i said i am a murder to them.

    You could do a breeding colony of kribenesis cichlids. (i think i spelled that right)

    You could do some Boesemani Rainbow's. They're really colorful.

    thoes are pretty but you all have to think i live a freaken hole in the wall and cant find any pretty fish. unless petsmart or walmart has them than they are outta the question. :(

    PetSmart will sometimes special order fish for you.

    I'd love that but my luck is they would get the wrong fish.

    Give them the specific name of what you want. If they order the wrong thing you don't pay for them.

    150 watt heater and a filter rated for aquariums over 30 gallons.

    I thought that kribs were some of the most colorful africans you could get, maybe some christmas fulu are right up your alley, your not going to find them at petsmart, or really anywhere online for less than a $100 for a breeding trio. Its hard for us to give you suggestions when your limited to wal mart or petsmart. You might want to give petsmart a call and find out if they will special order for you. Otherwise, you should go see what they have and research the fish to see whether or not it will be suitable for your tank.

    Aquaclear filters are on sale at the petsmart here. Id get one rated for a 55 gallon tank or two 30 gallon ones.

    walmart and petsmart arnt all i have. its just they are the ones with the most selection. and i dont want to spend 100$$ for fish. they dont have to breed.

    What about some of the shell dwelling cichlids? After someone mentioned them to me on here, I have been doing some research and they seem really cool. Once I get a larger tank for the cichlids I have now, I am going to get some for my 20 gallon tank.
