I'm not sure the Oscar and Angels will get along. Not to mention a 35 is only a temporary home for an Oscar.

    Re: my new tank suggestions

Don't get the Oscar. Angels need around 20 gallons each, so without the oscar your stocking will be fine (a little crowded but not bad)

    How did you acclimate them?
Save a few buckets of the new tank your getting's water and put it in the tank when you get home, and your tap water and it will be like a water change for them so they can adjust.

Those are some potentially big fish for that size tank. I'd feel guilty just putting the 2 angels in my 29 - they grow fast!

the oscar will out grow that tank in a month, your grandfathers oscar must have felt terrible living his whole growth stunted life in a tank of that size.

i went on a few sites and it says angel pairs can stay in a 15 gallon tank to breed so i might get a few little fish like algae eaters.I ight put my silver dollars in there

People who breed angels do huge daily water changes, much like discus breeders.

If your going to give your angels away I'd be happy to give them a good home, I'm looking for a few nice ones for a 55 gallon.

    Re: my new tank suggestions

adult angels the rule of thumb is 10 gallons per fish same as discus but you can have a breeding pair in as small as 15 gallons and yes water changes with angel fry is a daily deal at around 90% changed for good fast growth
