This question is for those who have sold angelfish to a store, if I were to sell them nickel to quarter size to a pet store what would be a fair price?

Also if I were to craislist them for $3 - $6 depending on size would that be fair?

These are silver (with black tiger stripes depending on stress level) and veiltailed.

You're going to be able to sell them for a higher price on CraigsList. I don't think the store would give you $3.00 each.

I figured that..... I was thinking pet store about $1 -$2 as they like 400% markups

    Craigslist I was thinking $3 - $6
    Pet Store I was thinking $1 - $2

    Would that be about right

On the good side there are only about 4 white ones as of today.... about 17 hours ago from the spawn (I got to watch them spawn too!). Both the male and the female keep fanning them with their pectoral fins and picking debris off them with their mouths.

I was going to leave them to the parents to take care of til around the end of day 4 then cut the leaf and place it in the 1/2 gallon tank inside the 125 much like I did with the sick discus.

This way the parents will take care of them as the seem to be doing a great job but I will have them out just before they all become free-swimmers!

That's good news. That's going to be a lot of little baby angels if they all survive.

Yeah, some extra money hopefully to pay for some upgrades and maybe discus IF the deal with the breeder falls through... he seems VERY interested in the website for the fish, but he has been busy and did not call back last night like he said. I probably need to stay on him to get it to happen.

Actually, Anthony you may know the guy as he is not far from you.... His name is Albert and his hatchery is call "Daddy's Little Angels and More". He is out in Lynchburg.

If it does, I will post them. I do want to make sure I get some quality babies first. Regardless, shipping will not be cheap as it will be 1 day shipping (like 50-70 bucks)

Best bet would be to get a few as shipping cost would not change for more fish.

I dont want to send Discus in the mail any more than 2 days as they dont take stress well.

Planted Discus tanks are VERY hard. Try building an environment with completely different requirements than the fish....... bam you have a planted Discus tank. (the plants want cool-warm water with a high KH , neutral PH and high lighting, the Discus like low lights with a low KH and PH with a high temp.....

2 words, ALGAE or DEATH and no in between...... at least not with ease. I prefer the algae..... as a matter of fact I am fighting the Algae now....

smaller the age you are the bigger the discount because think about it what if a 30 year old asks if he cant get some discus for like 10 bucks youll be like HELLA NO but if its like a 14 year old hmmm ill think about it
