I dont know how old they are, but one of them has already laid eggs once, but they were all eaten.. They are "biting" each other on the sides, not lips though. Two of them even look like they are losing scales.

they are just like "twitching"(im guessing warning them to stay away) then they charge and like nudge the other ones side and keep doing this right?

Re: My angels are fighting! (help / question)

as long as theirs no injurys to other fishes like "acctual scars" or "tons of ripped fins". i had a pair and the male beat up female pretty bad i seperated them for a week and they were fine again but i have a tank with 6 pairs of breeding angels they do that like ever time their about to lay so most likely their just marking their territory and are about to lays eggs does that "one" angels fish let another one in or "both" aggresive because if yes you got a pair but theirs a chance they can both be females so you might be getting eggs soon ;) hope this helps

Re: My angels are fighting! (help / question)

get a higher female to male ratio to take the aggression off her.
Also, once they've laid eggs most will HEAVILY guard the brood and attack any fish/inhabitant that goes anywhere near the spot that the eggs were laid.

I had one pair in my 55g a descent while back and they messed up the other fish in the community tank over their repeated breeding.

I think its pairing behaviour just like steven said.. Just my first shot though :)

Yeah like lemon teached me (Thank you lemon [angel] ) 2 Females can pair off (they do quiet often)

You can identify sexes by looking at their breeding tubes. If I'm not wrong the females one is small and dark like a toothprick and the male one is fatter again this is all told me by lemon (Yaay [glasses] )

I think that's best. Since if they are breeding the'll get agressive to any fish that'll come near.
