    ps. this is in freshwater because they also carry numerous other types of fish.

    some of the prices are fair and the shipping isn't killer...was hoping someone dealt with them before I'd even give them a 2nd glance though.

    try discusmadness Dawn, thats where my 8 discus, 12 rams and 4 BNP's are coming from in the morning.

    I can give you a first hand review tomorrow but I know we stayed away from RFI for a reason, im unsure but my old man does his homework well with purchases.

    discusmadness was too high for me (was able to get cheaper at lfs)...I just came across the rfi and there prices were comparable to my lfs sale..which made me wonder if anyone dealt with them..they have a yellow discus!
    Yes, I want a yellow one and YES I like a rainbow looking tank. haha!

    I got a mix of 8, picked 3 strains and gave them my top 10 list, the yellow one is sold out still I was kinda pissed I LOVE that lemon looking fish.

    I didnt fair to bad, got a dozen rams too and that cut the discus to 30 a piece and thats local breeder prices. cant touch one in a store around here for under 140 bucks

    I'm assuming that was the 2.5" discus size? and are you local to them (to get the discounted price) or did you have to shell out for shipping.

    no not local, they are 2.5" AND 3" size. Ive been talking to them for a few weeks and they also kept up on our tank build and saw all the money we already sunk into it and gave us a fair price. Shipping was 65 bucks for all the fish, 4-5 boxes worth is what the email said today when they sent me my tracking info.

    this 210 has cost over 5k bucks before the fish were purchased.

    The guy was quite happy to help us actually it was nice, even phoned today NOT EMAILED that the fish were shipped and doing well. Hopefully they are still fine in the morning when they get here, kinda chilly here tonight.

    I put a 30 dollar deposit down for the pick of the batch yellow when he gets them again ;)

    ill update today with pics, watch for a new thread around supper-time.

    well got em in,,, got a free BNP and a FREE discus out of the deal. Ill post more later when I get the pics and they got time to get used to it. very very nice specimens, I think the freebie was the ONLY one with slight peppering on its dome piece.
    rams are fantastic, fighting like normal.
