    ASIAN BONYTONGUE
    Also: Asian arowana, dragon fish

    Family:Truen bonytongues, Osteoglossidae.
    Characteristics:35 in, hard to sex.
    Tank/Water:1250g, water types 2-5, 81-85F.
    Care:Keep singly or in groups in very large aquariums with some roots along the sides. Feed highly nutritious foods including shrimp, fish, and insects.
    Habits:Predator that hunts prey at the surface of slow-flowing and standing waters in Southeast ASia.
    Compatibility:Kepp only with large, peaceful fish such as giant catfish, Siamese tigerfish, or large barbs.
    Caution: Protected species!
