best food source for cichlids

    The best food source is without a doubt, freshly hatched brine shrimp. they are tiny, so the fry can take them readily, a live source which always atracts carnivores, and very nutricious, so your babies will bulk up in not time.

    That's a lot of protein for a species that requires quite a bit of vegetation in their diet.
