    Ya. Got my 75g with wood stand and glass top and light for $225 locally on Craigslist.

    Some real good deals on 55g and large tanks too.

    agree with Craigslist but in the summer I have come across some monster deals at yard sales too.

    I've had the best luck with the local "Traders' Magazines". Usually called the Pennysaver or the Trader or something similar. For those in Central VA, the Valley Trader is excellent. They usually cost a buck to buy. It's free for people to advertise, hits maybe a five-county area. I've bought tanks, fishes, equipment.
