I was wondering if it would be okay to put my female betta in with my couple zebra danios in my 5 gal...

:D I haven't been here in forever this is what happens when you have way too many emails XD and no definitely not a good idea unless that 5 gal has a great filter and is heavily planted. Your danios won't be happy in a 5 gal no matter wat so yeah... :/

I have bad grammar :( *heavily planted also if this is still about bettas which might be unlikely any idea when betta fry start to fight? I'm thinking of breeding bettas for fun.

I gotta speak up on this one.
Betta in a 5g by itself (ok)
Zebra Danios in 5g (no..need large swimming areas to zip back and forth across)
Betta and Zebra Danios in HIGHLY planted tank that is larger than 5g...(ok)

But anytime you put a betta in with anything else (especially a male) you have to be cautious and keep an eye on the betta.

They DO NOT do well with filtration so Sponge filter or prefilter is defin the way to go.
They also DO NOT do well in strong currents due to their flowy finnage (males).
