    BLUE TETRA
    Also: Coelurichthys microlepis

    Family:Tetras, Characidae.
    Characteristics:3.5 in, male more intensely colored.
    Tank/Water:37.5g, water types 2-5, 76-79F.
    Care:Schooling fish, loves to swim, likes moderately bright tanks with loose plantings along the sides and good water movement. Feed small insects (fruit flies) and black mosquito larvae, as well as dry foods. Keep two or three males with six or more females.
    Habits:Nervous fish found in clear streams of eastern Brazil.
    Compatibility:With current-loving South American stream fish, such as panda corys, Corydoras panda.
