    BRICHARD'S SYNODONTIS

    Family:Naked catfish or squeakers, Mochokidae.
    Characteristics:6 in, hard to sex.
    Tank/Water:100g, water types 3-4, 76-81F.
Care:Keep as group (at least five specimens) in spacious aquariums with water movement and stone slabs as hiding places. Feed a varied diet, including different types of frozen foods and plant based flake foods. No red mosquito larvae-they cause digestive problems.
Habits:Found in Lower Congo rapids. The flat body profile and suckerlike mouth are adaptations to the turbulent water conditions of its native habitat.
    Compatibility:Nanochromis pailus and Congo tetras.
