can't help you there, the Acei's at my lfs all have yellow on the top fin though and the face shape is a lil more sloped from the top if you know what I mean.

I love that white top fin. They have one at LFS here that has the white fin and a darker blue colored body. They want 30 bucks for it though and I refuse to pay that. I've been looking for a smaller one with now luck.

Yeah, i'm not thinking so either. I have an electric blue peacock and it doesnt look like that. There is one just like it at one of the fish stores here in Richmond and they want 30 dollars for it. I'm not paying that for it.

No Jrow that is not an Acei, nor is it in any way shape or form a Peacock.

What you are looking at is an Cynotilapia sp. "Black Eastern" .

    Pronunciation: s-n-t-l-p-

    Geo. Origin: Nkhungu Point

    Habitat: Sediment-Free Rocky Habitat

    Diet: Omnivore

    Gender Differences: Dimorphic

    Breeding: Maternal Mouthbrooder

P.S Hope that helps a little, and btw it is not really common in the lfs so this may be as to why they are charging so much.

Its awesome! I want it so bad but I just cant see spending that. I may just suck it up and buy it anyway. The one at the LFS is prettier than the one in the picture...
