    can i use thi?

Okay i guess im due for my next dumb question. OK. I was wondering if i could use a old cookie jar to house a betta? Id say it is over 2 gals. I have no other use for it and i just wanted to know. I want to put a bubler thing in it also as well as some plants. If so let me know. also it is glass. and how would i go about cleaning it??

Yes, you can. Again, just clean it really well. You'd clean it the same way you would a regular fish bowl. You'll have to do water changes pretty often to keep the "tank" clean.

Yeah, you can use a plastic one as well. Same with the play sand. Just rinse that really well. You can use pool filter sand too, it's finer.

i just meant that betta's are hardy enough to
put in things that other fish cannot tolerate....
