    I just posted something, noticed something was wrong, and tried to edit it, but there is no edit option.

    It seems to me that I was able to edit in the past.

    What is the situation with editing?

    The edit option lasts 5 minutes and is next to the "Quote" button under the post if it is within the proper time frame.

    If it is not there, Anthony, Jake and Dawn (if she moderates the area) have to change it

    I think this rule is going to be a problem for me, but I'll work with it, I guess! [3ofus] (Admins, mods, and me working together.)

    I mostly dont need an edit. And there's always anthony he'll do it for you!

    The point of only allowing 5 minutes to edit a post is because normally by that time someone has read your post and replied to it. If you keep going in and editing it we will miss questions, comments etc etc and things will become confusing.

    If there's a good reason for you to need your post edited I will do it, but like I said above the edit time is limited for a reason. :D

    Like Lemon said, if you needed something edited after the alloted time period, feel free to send Anthony or me a PM. You can also PM Dawn if it's an area that she moderates. If you need something edited quickly, you can PM me and I'll get it done as soon as I'm able. As soon as the PM hits my inbox, it's pushed to my iPhone, where I can edit the post wirelessly without a computer, so it'll be done in just a couple minutes (provided I'm not busy). Also, if you include a link to the post that you'd like me to edit, I can get it done faster.

    I think really the only time to edit after an extended period would be in the Trading Post. Would make it easier to keep lists updated.

    Just my .02 of stimulus.
