cheap sand or substrate?

    Hey anthony does petsmart have any cheap sand or anything to put in the bottom of a fish tank or do you know of any other easy way to get some? please let me know..thanks man :)

    Normally the only sand I've seen them carry is live sand for saltwater tanks. Your best bet would be to go to Lowes or Home Depot and get some pool filter sand.

    okay man thank you. :) i guess im going to have to drive my big butt up there lol im bored anyways the computer gets boring evey now and again. if i get some ill let you know how much it cost.im goignt o go by petsmart as well...Ohhh anthony do you think target would have any type of sand??? just curious before i head out..Thanks a million bro ;)

    Home Depot runs $3.98 for a 50 lbs bag. Walmart does not carry play sand.

    I have not seen Target carry it either but if they do it would be a seasonal thing and not out yet.
