    Are they eating ?
    Is the tank cycled ?
What size tank is it ?
How big are the fish ?

they both seemed to eat fine this morning. the tank is cycled it was my old 30g tank that had all my fish in it until i got my 55g cycled. One dempsey is about 7 inches and the other is about 5 inches.

That's likely the problem... They're probably really stresses from being in a small tank, aggression is probably high between the two.

Appears to be... You've really got to get those guys a bigger tank. A 7" and 5" fish in that tank will be the root of many future problems.

Sounds good. I bet if you did that and make some nice caves with rocks they'd perk right up.

Lots of good deals on tanks on craigslist in our area lately.

    <a class="postlink" href="http://charlottesville.craigslist.org/for/987599036.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://charlottesville.craigslist.org/f ... 99036.html</a>

Dont forget to search "fish tank" as well as "aquarium"
