    I came across this photo of Takashi Amano's Aquarium and just thought I'd share...talk about drooling!

    Im in love!!! Fill that with a shoal of 200 cardinal tetras and a shoal of 30 blue turk or albino discus!!!!

    That guy is the man, read his planted aquaria books? the guy is a master at this stuff, not to mention his full time profession as a digital artist.

    i too wish that this tank was mine...this guy can do some amazing things with aquariums...

    Takashi Amano is a designer, photographer and Aquarist(a person who maintains or owns an aquarium). He has opened a company called Aqua Design Amano where he introduced Japanese gardening concepts (similar to bonzai) into the aquascaping hobby. A form of art that changes your normal aquarium into an art of nature.

    WOW, Dig out the scuba gear to clean it. Maybe if I remove all the furmiture in my Living room and don't eat for 2 years I can Have one. :) HHMMMMM

    I hear ya, I was thinking:
    [*]a tank full of Han's Red Scribbled Discus
    [*]an entire colony of corydoras
    [*]numerous denison barbs
    [*]mts
    [*]and maybe some rams
    ---> And while I'm at it someone to maintain it would be nice so I can do what my family does (just sit and critique it-ugh!)

    it cleans itself. I dont think his tanks require cleanings like most hobbyist, no algae and plants use the leftovers for food...It would have to a whole lot bigger for me to swim in.

    yeah ADA is big on plantedtank and APC. I think Amano is a member on both sites as well.
