Exotic Fish for 125 or 150g (Recommendations Wanted)

    any ideas??

    im looking for a new fish in 2 months when i get my 150 or 125 gallon tank. i want an "EXOTIC" fish, something different,easy to care for, and something that will be fine with my fire eel in the tank.

    ANY ONE GOT IDEAS ????????

    Throw the eel out and get hundreds of neons tetras :) Thats easy. j/k

    Fire eels get along with nearly all aquarium fish, with the exception of bite-sized tankmates. If the eel is purchased small, they will probably not eat small fish that were already there. But You should add some fish that do NOT fit in his mouth and not get to big :)

    Ah like that.. I have no id tbh :eek: You have a picture of your eelz size perhaps then I can come up withsomething maybe

    well right now my fire eel is like 9 inchs and i want to get him a 125 or 150 gallon tank in 2 months. and i dont want to get a bigger tank then 150 gallon

    How big is his mouth? I think you sooner or later might even have to upgrade from the 150 but okay.

    his mouth isnt that big, but i want big fish not small ones that r going to be fine in a 150 gallon tank with my fire eel .

    As long as the fish won't fit in the eels mouth when it's done growing generally any peaceful fish can be placed in with them.

    If you have the right tank size....clown loaches, BGK, bala's and roselines to name a few.
