    FYI on the 55 housing a metriaclima where the plants are attached to the filter strainer you can cover it with a piece of panyhose and zip tie it around it to avoid your plants getting stuck to it...that will make it easier to skim out the gunk and will protect shrimp from getting sucked in too! Or you can use a pre-filter also.

    I LOVE the snails be they pond, ramshorn, diffusa, assasin whatever I love all my snails. The duckweed in the filter intake doesn't really bother me it's only there for like a day or two when the water level starts to get down near WC day, which is tuesday by the way:)
