a friend of mine gave me some fish, he said they were green terrors. I can't find any pics online that resemble my fish, are they green terrors or another breed of cichlid??

Looks like it may be Aequidens sp. Gold Saum

Still looks like a bluegill. Sunfish, Brim, whatever people call them. I'm from Kentucky so we call them Bluegill... How long have you had the fish and where did you get it? Did you catch it?

I would have to say that I agree with Jrow on this one, it does look just like a Bluegill.

This is definately NOT a green terror as this is what they look like in the "Gold Saum" variety.

    I don't think it's a bluegill, for what it's worth. :)

Definately not a bluegill. Bluegill's are a member of the perch family and that's definately not a perch in pic.

You want to see a bluegill just take your fishing rod to a local pond or lake and throw a worm in.... :)
