Depending on your water parameters Otto Cats are always a good choice.

They're suckermouth catfish and get to be 2" max. They'll eat algae and algae waffers.

Otos are GREAT, they dont mess with plants or other fish! They eat only algae and wafers like Anthony said... All around they are AWESOME and wont outgrow a smaller tank like yours!

would 1 or 2 work just fine, I have read they are happier in groups of 6 but I just don't think my tank can take 6 plus all my guppies.

They are happier with 4 or more I would say.... they dont really hit your tanks bioload at all! If you need 4-6 to get the job done you will be ok!

They are little so keep that in mind! The are GREAT cleaners but are definitely limited by their size...

I have 12 in my 125 and 1 in my 20 gallon Endler tank

I currently have 4 but will have 8 total this week. The 4 I have always hang out together.

I had a rhino pleco that was virtually indestructible. I had a very mean angel fish in the 55 gallon with him that eat his fin down to nothing. I had no choice but to move the pleco to a 10 gallon tank. He survived me moving and even forgetting to feed him for several days at a time. There was no algae in the tank for him to eat but he munched on the driftwood. I fed him twice a week until I eventually gave him to someone.
