I'm so excited about finding an active forum about fish and all things related. My name is Katy, I'm 21 years old from Virginia. I have 4 aquariums. 1, in which is simply a mixture of many different types of fish and over 6 different aquatic plants. Another tank I have an African Cichlid that's over 2 years old and very aggressive with 3 different aquatic plants. I also have a tank simply dedicated to growing more aquatic plants. My 4th aquarium I've had since I was about 10 years old -- I have two newts, one that is 11 almost 12 years old and the other is about 5 years old.

I love my aquariums and I love all aquatic things. In the next few weeks a 5th tank, that is a 35 gallon will be added to my set ups to house two red ear slider turtles :D

Back to Rat Breeding I Go - Snakes and Rats!!

This is the first two aquariums I listed :D

Welcome, although the sliders as babies will do ok in the 35 you should really think about only doing one and even then long term it will need a larger tank.

    Oooohhhh!
Looks like a Tiger Endler in the top tank to me =P

HBIC is Right. Two turtles will need a HUGE tank later in life. Go with just one unless you have the space to upgrade in 3 or so years.

I have two ten gallons, and two 20 gallons. the 35 gallon is going to be a starter tank for the turtles, i intend when they get larger to give them a tank perfect for their size.
