    Hi
I used to keep all kinds of fish, I had 7 tanks running before I moved. I sold/gave away all but my 75 gallon. That was a couple of years ago. Its been running but all my fish have passed away. I was wondering what you all are finding interesting to keep. I really enjoyed my frontosa. They were clean nice fish. I also enjoyed my south american cichlids.
I worked at a local petstore so I could go to the suppliers and pick out my own fish. Now there really isn't a good store to get them from close so I want to make my trip worth while.
I hope to learn a lot from you all and enjoy keeping fish again!

    Welcome to the forum.

Fronts are very nice fish to keep in a group. Personally my favorite cichlids are OB Peacocks. With a 75 gallon you can do quite a few things as far as cichlids go if that's what you want to stick with.

I am not really set on one kind of fish yet. I want a fish that isn't shy. My discus' were absolutely beautiful but painfully shy. I did enjoy that tank with south american cichlids, I love the eyes of the severums. So I will look around and see what is available.

    Welcome!

My discus are not shy, if I wanted to there are a few that would let me pet them.... of course that would be stupid of me to do.

Plus my discus follow me as I walk by the tank! I was going to recommend them.... but seeing as you had them already. Angels are nice too if you run a planted tank as they shoal really nice (much better than discus!)

With a 75 you could do some of the red severums, or wild caught ones, I suggest looking over the pictures on tangledupincichlids.com

Angels, they are a great idea. I had a few a long time ago. I will have to check them out. Thanks!

And I certainly didn't mean all discus are shy, mine were because they were only used to me and would race around if someone else walked by them.
