    Hello,

This past weekend I caught my gold severum fighting I think. I only caught round two with the vid camera. I posted it on you tube. Check it out. Please excuse the music as it was my boyfriend's pick and I could not figure out how to get a song from my itunes.

Edited to add... I have only caught them twice doing this and both times I had just finish with a water change a few hours before hand....

I know nothing on severums, but was wondering are they males/females or one of each?
Thinking IF they are both males they may be locking thinking its spawning season when you do the water changes and the new water added is slightly a diff. temp.
    OR
IF they are male/female that the water changes are triggering spawning?
Could also be they just like to wrestle..Lol!

    Regardless. great vid!!
