Can you help me determine what this is... and help me get rid of it?

It's along the back wall too but that's harder to see... I currently have 1 fish that's been living in the tank for several months and has no issues...

    Thanks!

i agree with Ryan, Diatom Algae.
Excess nutrients (overfeeding, high phosphates, lack of tank maint., etc)
I suggest you start off by doing a COMPLETE test of your waters parameters...especially the phosphates and post it here.
If anythings amiss, then we can assist you further.

Ps. How long has this tank been running?
What if anything are you adding to the water?
Size and amount/frequency of water changes?
    Food/frequency that is being fed?

How do I check the phosphates?

I am doing a water change every 2 weeks. I have a 10 gallon tank, I have 1 guppy feeding it tropical flakes about 1 pinch every other day... I am adding the correct amount of prime to my water when I do my water change... The tank has been running since June.

on a 10g it would do better if you do a weekly partial of about 10-15%

To check phosphates you need a test kit (api is a good brand and reasonably priced).

Is this a planted 10g? What type of media are you using?
