Hi everyone!,

Hi my name is Lance from the Philippines, I'm interested in learning about the recently discovered the ELB Endler livebearers, However my country did not pay attention to my query so I'm asking other countries help in giving me more info about the fish.

I got some fish from a river here, I have seen these colorful fishes long time ago when I was in high school in a polluted river near a public market, and it is my nature to observe fishes in the river regardless if it is polluted or not, and I've acquired some of them and feed them to my arowana. And I also did a research if there are possible aquarium fish that can also be found here because most of them are from other countries like in America, Africa, malaysia thailand etc.

One day I was thinking about guppies and breeding them and wanna make my own strain,been successful in breeding though hahaha but not with new strain just yet. And I went to the river one day and to find that fish which facinated me before, and I found lots of fry swimming in a strong current and got them with my fish net, I send them back home, put them in my empty aquarium. in short I made them grow there, in a while I was thinking to send them back but they did already displayed brilliant colors so I just did kept them anyway. After which there are new topics pertaining to an endler live bearer from a forum in which I'm a member. Eventually I got challenge because the picture shown in the web pertaining to the fish from Venezuela resembles exactly what these fish looks like.

I have contacted friends from the USA from guppies.com and they have sent me helpfull links to observe and compare them between a wild guppy and endlers I have been successful in observing its gonopodium as far as the difference,SEE LINK BELOW

Base on this, what i have acquired is an Endler not a wild guppy, all along I thought it was just a wild guppy but later did I realized that they are different.
