Hello from New Jersey

    I decided a year ago to start a second tank dedicated to Cichlids. My first choice, Discus were too costly.

    To date, I have five fish but have neglected to note the actual species. All I can say is that one is yellow, one orange, one pale blue with black stripes, one pale brown (?) with black stripes and one very dark purple with yellow top fine.

    I registered a while back but have not allowed myself to participate until now. I look forward to getting to know you.

    Welcome! Yes Discus are VERY costly... I know... TRUST ME! The initial price tag does not even touch on the true cost to own Discus :)

    Wow! I never anticipated how friendly everyone would be. I will be sure to post pictures of my finned friends in a more appropriate location. I plan to put my two cents in where it will be helpful. Thanks to all for the warm welcome.
