Hello, from Texas

    I'm new to this forum and wanted to say Hi

    My name is Lori and have been married for 26 years and have 3 grown kids. My father lives with us, he has 2 small mutts and I have a great dane, boxer and 2 yorkies. I have a 48 gallon tank with 2 dojo's and a big oranda goldfish and a 150 gallon with 15 cichilds and one blue lobster. I want to learn more about cichlids and find some really colorful ones to add to my tank.

    I hope to meet other people here to learn more and maybe help others with this hobby.

    Yorkies are really sweet babies!

    I have south african and my yellow ones like the one in your picture seem to mate 24/7! lol

    Welcome to the forum, Lori. I've been married 28 years, just got a new boxer puppy, and am running 14 tanks, mostly africans and planted tanks

    Thank you all for your welcome! I hope to learn a lot from everyone and get to know new friends. This forum is a little different than the ones I've been on before so bare with me as I figure it all out. How do I reply to just one person or do you just do a reply to everyone on this thread?

    Bob, your pup looks like my TBone, he is a reverse brindle with orange eyes which freaks people out. He is THE BEST dog I've ever had and he's a rescue.

    Dawn, thank you for all the links I will check them all out!

    Cowgirl, I think you need more pets! lol

    Guidoman, I had a 12 gallon and it was the biggest pain in the bum! Give me a big tank and I'm in heaven.
