help (Electrical)

    i blew all the plugs in my room and the hood to my ten. not sure if my filter even still works. i need help how can i keep them alive until i can move it?

    only thing is the light in the ceiling comes on.. and it was in a surge prtector.

    Light is on a different circuit.

    replace surge protector and try again also go check the breakers, the one in the middle is the tripped one, they will either be all facing left or all facing right on each side, tripped one is in the middle.

    yep, check where the plugs go in (into wall or outlet strip) and see if theres a reset button. I know my wall outlets have them (you have to push inwards) and the outlets are usually a black elevated button like thing somewhat hidden on the end/side.

    no buttons on the plugs dawn. and the plugs dont work when i plug anything else in them. but i did break the hood. lol. need to check the brakers. will do tomorrow.

    man, they musta been some 3rd world country made plugs or something...because I've had several outtages & surges (to the point of sparks when the circuits pop..older home-old wiring)...and never had any equipment failure as a result...but then again MOST of the important stuff is plugged into surge protected power strips & outlets.

    i flipped the breakes and still nothing from the filter. i found a new light since i broke the other one. i guess i need to try the plugs agian.
