    Hey Anthony,

I've been keeping rams on and off for 4 years now. started with Bolivian rams and now keep a pair of breeding GBRs. I love them, so much personality!

the duckweed was completely consumed by my turtles, so for all the people that claim duckweed takes over your tank the solution is to let a turtle go at it for a few hours :)

but the java moss and frogbit are doing great!

Good:) I also have duckweed that covers a 55 with a turtle so I take from other tanks for that one but the duckweed just goes wild in my other tanks.

oh yea, I bet! it was pretty funny seeing half the tank covered with duckweed in the morning then getting home from work and seeing no live plants and a lot of turtle veggie poo floating everywhere. LOL

in one tank that I put the moss in it's starting to grow algae like a net or spider web. pretty new to plants but never saw anything like it, it's starting to cover my moss and substrate!

it's attached to 2 rocks and a piece of driftwood. I get the feeling it's from adding more light in preparation for more plants but I've never seen it look like webbing taking over.

Has the wood been recently added to the tank?

nope, wood has been in the tank for quite some time. definitely the moss and extra lighting causing it.

Yup  I have the same issue too! It drives me nuts.... the algae comes off easy but it is still a pain! What type of lighting do you have on your tank (colors, bulb type, wattage, length)
