    Thank you all for replying.
My 4 goldfish live in the 30 g tank.
And my betta has a 10 g tank all for himself.

Welcome! Have you ever seen an adult Fantail??? They get HUGE! I used to keep them in a pond. Mine were like 10 inches long and a little over a pound! Just an interesting point about them!

Yes.In the pond they will get really big.But on the other side you can't
grow a show fish in the pond, they are not as refine. But I may be wrong,
of course. And I'm not saying mine are for the show (I wish they were.),
but I wouldn't want them to look like their wild ancestors. When they
outgrow their tank I'll just get them a bigger home.
But thank you for the warning very much.

Was not really warning.... Just saying, many did not know that! You will never believe the looks I got when I pulled them out of the water to prove they were fantails!

A 30 gallon is pretty good for those fish! Also the 10 is perfect for your betta! Did not mean it that way. I was even shocked when I found out how big fantails could get! Most of mine were bought from the petstore like any others and grew HUGE! I never knew that til then

Nice goldfish too! I strangely like goldfish even though I dont keep them anymore!

I moved and the pond lost its bacteria. Needless to say I lost all the fish and dis-assembled the pond and moved my love for fish inside!
