How big do you think my Puffer is?

    So here is the only somewhat clear picture that i could get, so sorry about the bad quality, he wasn't coperating in his tank and i had to move him into the holder to get somewhat of a decent pic of him

    3" is what i was thinking, i new he looked like he grew some, i just wasn't positive

    i think hes 16" justt look hes a giant compared to the soap bottle :D :D

    hahaha lol i wish he was 16" imagine the size of tank he would need and they type of food he would need and the size of the teeth!

    haha for hard shell foods he would need to eat a lobster :D lol what size tank would a 16" puffer need 500 gall? at full grown 6" supposed to be 55 gall,if he's 3" and i've had him for 6 months and takes 2 years to get to full grown, i guess he's right on track, he was 2" or less when i got him 6 months ago, maybe longer

    wow he's half way to he's full grown, my parents would never let me get a bigger tank for him nor is there any room, and i'll have to get all the saltwater equipment and theres no way i could afford that can't believe how much he's grown in 6 months+

    and also, if my parents would never let me get a bigger tank, would it be at all possible if i talk my parents into let me turn the pond outside into a saltwater tank for him? It needs A LOT of cleaning like would all of the equipment that i would eventually need be able to go into the pond

    so i was going through my old photos and found an old picture of him, i think this was a few months after i first got him, as i think i bought him in the summer of 08' and this summer will be a year, and that means it will be the longest time that i have ever kept a fish :D

    I can't remember if I mentioned this before, but my favorite lfs has these really neat looking red eyed puffers. I love how these guys looks, but after my girlfriend had a pea puffer in my community tank, and he would fin nip like crazy (until he really must have angered another fish and they finally turned on him...), I don't think I'd do another puffer. The pic is from the LFS's site.

    WOW that's a reallly cool looking puffer! i had this guy in a 10 gall community tank when i first got him, within the first week all of the other fish were dead with chuncks bitten out of them, he even killed gouramis, lol i didn't have the heart to take him back so he's been my favorite fish ever since :) and now is all by himself and happy as ever
