How long have you kept fish?

    As the title says, how long have you kept fish, and what was your first fish?

    For me, I've had fish in my house my entire life, so 18 years. My first actual fish, was a vieltail betta.

    Been keeping for about 12yrs now and my first fish was a goldfish.

    Gold fish are pretty neat....I also use to have 2 outdoor goldfish ponds (1200 and 500 gallons), that's how I got into the hobby.
