    I wanna breed!
I would like to purchase a new tank and try to breed some kinda of fresh water fish or invertabrate. I like things that are different so I don't want to do mollies or guppies. Does anyone have sugestions?

I just posted what works for me in the knowledge section. With livebearers, all you need is put a male and female in same tank with no predators.

LOL....I've always wanted some. Ever I ever come across some cheap ones, I would go and buy a whole new setup and tank for them, even though I've promised my wife no more tanks until we get a bigger house.

It would be at least a 55g tank and I just want something you don't see in every tank you see.

    Cichlids are easy to breed

Some of the cichlid species I agree but please remember that a breeding pair requires quite a bit of space. I would go with live bearers or some of the corydoras species. I have had GREAT success with the C. Aeneus.

Live bearers are the easiest by far

How 'bout ABNs ? Albino bristlenose. Very easy to breed. 1 male + 1 female = fry ! Not much else to it. I bred mickey Mouse swords a while ago, and like a PP said, just put them in the same tank and they'll breed ! I have recently bred Sewellia lineolata (loaches), and that was all I did with them also. So sometimes I guess you gotta be a little lucky ! Good luck.
