is burnt driftwood harmful to your aquarium?

    Would a burnt piece matter? I already scrubbed and baked it. It's an awesome piece I would hate to throw away.

    hmm, I don't think a burnt piece would hurt. the burnt part would have all the sap cooked out of it, and the black part would be , for the most part, carbon..... I think I'd rake a wire brush over it to take off the loose stuff, and give it a try.
