Is this a mushroom?

    It looks a lot like a mushroom but I can seem to find anything that looks like it anywhere online; I feel kind of stupid asking. If so what can I feed it?

    Mushrooms usually stay flat (mostly) against what ever it's attached to. I'm not exactly sure what it is. I know it's not an anemone of any type.

    I found a book that identifies most corals in it and I believe it is a toadstool leather. Thank you for your help! : )

    ohh cool :D i'm in the process of trying to save up for a 4x39 T5 Tek light the toadstool looks like its doing good under your lighting, i'll be looking into getting one eventually
