went to bed last night after watching my tank for nearly an hour and was so happy with everything, especially my new GBTA and maroon i got for christmas so i got up at 6 this morning and turned the lights on like i never do, i usually just let the timers do it at 9. but when i turned them on i could only see a little bit of my anenome left hanging from the powerhead, so i quickly unplugged it but he was gone , it was to late.

now i have peices of him all over my tank and my water is cloudy, guess it's time for a major water change

after nearly 15 years of freshwater and nearly 6 months of saltwater this truly is the saddest day in my aquariust life

Gotta keep an eye on those amemones. Mine got caught in the filter intake once but it was only for a minute and wasn't damaged at all. Sorry you lost it.

well he alway's stayed kinda around in the one corner so last night before i went to bed i unplugged the powerhead on that side because he was close to it, and this morning he was on the other side of the tank in the other power head

Usually the fish will avoid it because they know it can kill them. If you have corals you have to be careful because they will sting them and can/will cause damage.

This is what im mostly aiming for in my tank.

    2 clowns
    1 Royal Gramma
    1 Biocolor Blenny
    A dwarf angel
    And maybe a mandrin
    1 or 2 anomoes

would this be a good stock?

Yeah, that sounds fine. The mandrin will require special care as they normally only eat copepods.

The onlything i would be worried about getting one is that the other fish taking the copepods on him.

A good refugium set-up will make that mandarin quite a happy fish, and the fuge can be fun to watch, with all the critters moving around.
