    along with the oscar, the jd's are my favorite of the larger cichlids also.

    anyone have the electric blue jacks ...or the dwarf ones that I believe somethingsphisy had listed a while back?

    Curious as to what they look like as adults being I've only seen juvis at my lfs.

    really nice !!!



    i've yet to see an adult electric blue jack dempsey myself, only juvies. a few people that i've talk to that has had them they never made it to adulthood, they got sick and died.

    how long have you had your dempsey for? ive had mine for about a year and it seems to grow pretty slow compared to my other fish

    we've had him for about 1 1/2 yrs and they do grow slower than other of the larger cichlids.
