    mystery snails basically
    I've never seen them lay in the water...mine always lay just above the water.

    They are above the water. Right under the lip of the plastic moulding. ;o)

    I'm leaving this clutch where it is. I had removed the previous two and placed them in a small tupperware container. Never had briggs eggs before so treading on new territory.
