just woundering, breeding neons

    can you actully breed neon tertras?

    Technically yes but from what I've heard it isn't easy and that's why they aren't commercially bred in the US.

    Apparently the fry are light sensitive and any light kills them. :eek: :eek:

    Supposedly those guys are great fish for beginners to breed.

    I never had any babys when i had them. only my guppies and ballon mollys. i want to see some small little baby tiger barbs.

    I've had problems with "easy breeders" before too. People always told me how easy one fish was to breed. I went out and got some and they never did. Cichlids, Endlers, and Guppies are the only thing I've kept that I was able to get to spawn.
