    Kens Fish http://www.kensfish.com/

I came across this website and just placed my first order.
    [*]Prices are excellent
[*]Multiple shipping options are given to buyers
[*]Various payment methods are accepted (including Paypal)
[*]Online store has a very wide variety
[*]Phone number & E-mail are given for contact methods
[*]Claims products are shipped within 24 hours of payment receipt
[*]I wasn't even charged sales tax! (hey, every little bit saved helps)

-> For those of you having cichlids you may want to check out these cool rocks with the hiding holes (a great concept that also looks natural): http://www.kensfish.com/Chichlidstones.html

-> For those of you who are breeding just about anything else you may want to browse over this link: http://www.kensfish.com/breedingsupplieslinks.html

 Can't wait for the pleco logs! I can't find any good breeding caves/logs in my area..Ugh!

I'll defin. let ya know how it goes.
Order date 3/5/09 using the UPS Ground since it was cheapest for my order.

After ordering you get the typical bounce back e-mail telling you what you've ordered...and tells you to e-mail them for your order status.
You may check your order status by writing to:

The prices seem reasonable, and I like that you can use PayPal as that is the primary form of currency transfer that kim and I use for the company we own.

Am I correct in understanding that they do not deal with livestock?

Ken's great to deal with, and yep, fast shipping too. His prices on the stealth heaters are about the cheapest, but shhhhhhhh, don't tell him or he'll raise em.

Dawn if you're looking for some cool pleco caves, try
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.plecocaves.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.plecocaves.com</a> Their prices are cheap, they make them in their backyard shed, and spend 30.00, the shipping's free.

I just added a calvus cave to a tank with some J. Dickfeldi in it, turned it on it's side, and they've got a clutch of eggs in it after 4 days. I think there was some Barry White playing in the room too.... :)

 Now you tell me! Lol! I already ordered more than I will probably need from Ken's.

:) It's aight...I saved it to my petstore link folder for future possible purchases.

Loving the free shipping after spending so much part. ;)

That's the first time I saw a buddah, frog, turtle. I like them!
I would soo have them If I had a kids tank setup.

Their Walnut looks like a brain to me. Lol!

:D Thanks again for yet another great site..lord knows I can't keep up with all of them that are out there. :D

There's so many out there that are just a waste of time and energy, and then there's a few that really can save you money. Unfortunately at the expense of the LFS

    Okay, Kens Order arrived today.

Packaging-Excellent! Rather small order and arrived in LARGE box. Inside the box was paper tucked everywhere. Finally beyond the paper was a bubble wrapped package..inside the bubble wrap were the actual items ordered (each individually boxed and bubble wrapped inside the small boxes).

Items-Arrived Perfectly on the day the tracking said it would. Items were all intact and looked exactly (if not better) than the website showed.

Prices-Imo are VERY good! I know some of the decor/breeding stuff I ordered was repeats of things I had gotten at my lfs some time ago for MUCH higher prices (reason ordered...lfs never got them back in and wanted more of a few more).

Would I order again---Absolutely! Unless they dramatically increase their prices or If I could find the same products elsewhere cheaper. I'm all about the bottom line price and saving cash so I can buy more toys! Lol!

For Kensfish, I know ken pretty well, great guy, I been ording supplies from him for a few years, never an issue. As for pleco logs, the best I have found, and the difference is 1000% noticable, are the bells made by Rick and Monica Boester. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.boesterscichlids.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.boesterscichlids.com</a>

they kinda look like a dwarf version of kens with a wider opening (at least the ones on the page you go directly to from the link do).

I order all my fish food from Kens. I love the prices and the heaters he has are great also. I got a couple 300w for like $13 each I believe. My fish have always loved his food and I've never had a problem getting them to take any of it.
