Yes! This is a good product when you are trying to get finicky fish to eat. It's also good if you suspect your fish may have internal parasites as it will help to keep the parasites under control and boost the fishes immune system.

BTW this is good for freshwater as well as saltwater fish.

I've known about the immune boosting properties of garlic and I noticed this product said it could be added directly to the water so I thought I'd ask if anyone had any experience with it. I'm going to order some with a few other items I need.

If possible get the KentMarine Vitamin-C. They go together . You can add it directly to the water also.

I'll order that next time. I've already been feeding a food with vitamin C in it in the evening.

the best thing to do with Guarlic Guard is to soak the food in it and feed it to the fish....it is a great cure for ick. Ick does not like garlic so it will fall off of the fish...if fish are fed the garlic often they have a less chance to get ick.

So I got my Garlic Xtreme today and man is that stuff nauseating. I'm feeding frozen brine shrimp and another frozen food held together with a gel substance. Because of that I really can't soak the food in it and it soak into the food. It says it can be added to the water if the fish are not eating. Can it be added to the water during feeding or even on a scheduled basis and still have it's positive effect ? If so how often should it be added to the tank ?
