Just wanted to share this ,I have two Angelfish in my tank along with a few other nonaggressive fish. Well today I added 5 neon tetras and within 5 minutes one of my angelfish gulped down two of them. throught they were not aggressive like that but i guess not

yea how big are the angels and the neons because angels will eat guppy fry and and eggs and any other fry most of them will but rember angels are part ciclids eating cardinals are their diet in the wild

Angelfish are Cichlids.... Cichlids are omnivorous/carnivorous... Angels are NOT non-aggressive. They are actually highly aggressive... wait til you have a spawning pair! They will attack fish larger than them.

They are maybe not trying to eat them as much as defending a territory! When I had the pair in my display tank they attacked EVERYTHING and if were dumb enough to stay there they would try to beat it to a pulp.

That is just a coincidence.... My females larger and has more black on her.... again that IS NOT a way to sex them. It just happens I know my 2 females by their coloration and the male from his. (the one female in my downstairs tank looks almost exactly like the male, I had to watch her spawn to distinguish between them)
