my blackwater 30 gl

    here is a pic of my bw tank in the works, neons, and A. cacatuoides double reds, and a snoball pleco( hiding as usual)

    Nice reproduction of the Rio Negro! :D

    I saw a film where they were shooting underwater pictures of the river and it did look much like this! (thinly planted with lots of wood!)

    Cardinal Tetras are much prettier than those Neons and the Cardinals LOVE blackwater!

    thanks for the great comments,prolly get come cardinals after i thin out the 4.4 A. cacatuoides to a 1.3 or so, of course keep the prettiest ones :D

    Agreed with dawn. The neons are super cool. Dont listen to lemon neons are cooler then cardinals! :) Though the're both super awesome.

    I like the aquascaping alot!

    If I looked right the plants cover the stick I tottaly love that!

    it's java mos covering the stick and growing up the anacharis as well, need to trim it off

    I like the rummynoses, I have I believe 2 or 3 in my tank now...the only thing that ticks me off is that my lfs can never get in healthy specimens of them...even when they try to net them most die quickly of just being "netted".

    Have ya ever experienced that drazzil when getting yours?

    Ps. I want that moss stick. Lol! I'd defin make a spot for it..really nice!

    no, nvr had that issue, only the one wheni added 2 news one and gave my healthy ones fin rot or whatever it was, I bought that stick from my lfs, for 5 bucks lol, just had to have it myself :), looking to get more rummy noses soon, i'll let your know how they do

    well just bought 3 more rummies what a deal 3 @2.99, look healthy.it's nice to know the employees(from my days running my reptile shop).my lone rummy needed some friends to hang with
