My Male and Female Apistogramma Cacatuoides

    Here are my Apistos, I keep them in a planted 10 gallon tank with a sponge filter. The yellow color of the female indicates that she will soon be ready to lay eggs, she will stay yellow through the first couple weeks of raising the fry before turning back to a more brownish color.

    Great looking pair....I really like the coloration/pattern of the males fins.

    They have pretty nice coloration to them!
