I set things up although I don't really like how it looks. I have to get my hands on some java moss still and my rock work is funny. I did grab some plants any way though because I'm impatient but they will soon have a home in my friend's tank so I'm really just plant sitting.

My wood shrimp is nowhere to be found but I think I'm going to do red cherry shrimp instead anyway.

Here's my betta. He lives in the bathroom now

Re: "Natural" tanks - no filter

wood shrimp would do fine with cherry shrimp (have them together also).

I think to keep that tank filterless you're going to have to put A LOT more plants in there.

I just grabbed what I could before the store closed. I'm hoping to get some java moss from a friend of a friend within the next few days as well. I'm glad to hear that though because I think it looks way too empty the way it is now

Thanks for my own thread ;)

Pack that thing with no filter! Java moss wont be the end... You need WAY more than just that!
