mySQL Errors

    FYI ~~ I have had not had any server time outs in a longer time than normal.... hopefully it will continue like this :D

    It did not throw errors but this morning about quarter til 9 the board was running slow. I had to hit "Forum Index" multiple times because it did not seem it was doing anything... I expected to see the Server Time Out error, but the page loaded :roll: Back to this again it seems... :confused:

    I keep having problems with it starting to load but not doing anything (going to the page I clicked). I have to click it a few times before it actually loads the page.

    Before they whitelisted the site that's when it was timing out and giving the mySQL errors. I explained that to them and when I tell them there's another error they take 15 minutes before they're on the site so it's not showing anymore. I've requested a monitor be put on the site to show it's uptime. I'm waiting to see what they say about that.

    That sounds like a plan... yeah I was getting errors where the website was down for 15 minutes... I have NEVER got a MySQL error but all of the other problems I have encountered.

    It has been a few weeks.... May have been last week.... I usually just leave the site alone and try back later... That is the Server Timeout Error I was telling you I get... It means the site is down.

    The only recent issue is the time it takes to load a page and I have not had that problem til this morning... all seems well now!

    So here's the latest news.

    Now I assume this "user" he's referring to is just on the server, not the forum. I asked him to clarify so I could be 100% sure though.

    Yeah... the user is a general user that we all are using to the server... Or maybe the server admin account that is used to access the database (your username/password to the database. Again we ALL use that in order to view this site)

    According to him it was another site putting a huge strain on the server randomly.
